Sounds awesome and there is nothing wrong with static rain in a song like this, just make it a bit lower in volume.
This is a short piano piece that I came up with a few years ago. I've slowly tweaked it over the years, and I think it's finally gotten to a place that I'm comfortable with to showcase. It's still rough in every sense of the word, but I'm sick of being a perfectionist and never releasing any music, so here it is, as it is.
The song gets its name because I was asked to give it a name when taking a college intro to piano class, and simply couldn't come up with one at the time. I told the teacher that I had a hard time on the ending, because I couldn't find a way to close the song, or fill in the middle with everything I wanted. He responded, "Does it never end, or do you never want it to end?". Take that sentence however you will, but I thought it was a pretty awesome response. Anyway, that's how it got its name, enjoy this rough version of Never Ending
-EFFECTS VERSION- (clean version with just piano exists)
Ratings and reviews much appreciated, thanks for listening.

Rain?
First of all, I love the piano piece. I think it is very moody by itself. I don't think you need the endless rain. At first, the rain and thunder sounds cool, but it gets old rather quickly. Maybe turn it down a little, to be more subtle. I think the original piece is a little empty, maybe, and this version is a little to crowded. Something in between will be perfect!
Thanks for the notes, I definitely agree with you. The main reason for the rain was that I too knew the main piece was too empty, the ambiance filled in some of the blanks for me, for now. I agree it's a bit crowded, and a bit repetitive at that. One day it'll be a complete piece, with more variation in melody, and less reliant on rain ambiance, so goes the plan. Thanks for the kind words and honest review, much appreciated.
