This is my version of Stickerbrush Symphony as originally heard on Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (in my opinion one of the best platform games ever made).

I made this with some very simplistic samples and tried to focus on getting the melody just right. It came out rather more melancholy than the original but I focused on the getting the drums right.

On older consoles certain instruments had to be cut out at particular points due to there not being enough layers to produce every sound of the instrument. Those of you who have heard the original may have noticed how the drums would not play persistently which is why the drums just sounded so effing cool to me!

Anyway enjoy even though this is probably the thousandth remix of this song you have heard.

Cheers matey! I did this in University as a side project. It was done in Sonar 7 cos we had the software. Bad news was it was on a prehistoric PC so it was blue screen hell for me. To be honest though it was probably far more complicated software than I needed but it was nice to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
