This song will be featured on my third album. It is intended to be a map or battle theme for an RPG. I wrote this as a piece with a memorable melody but with lots of interesting chords and progressions. I hope you will enjoy it - I had a blast writing it!

It certainly does what it's intended

This screams SNES era RPG. Has everything you were going for. Memorable melody, interesting chords and progressions. Sounds perfect for a map theme or battle theme. And holy crap, is it good. This easily measures up to the songs of some of the best RPG's of the SNES era. Words of a random listener like myself just won't do justice to how great this sounds. That said, while it would work good for an RPG of the SNES era, I feel like it would seem out of place on a modern console. Maybe for a DS title? Don't get me wrong, in terms of RPG songs, we're talking Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy level of quality here. I would love to hear it in a game. Not that it's a problem, but it just doesn't sound like it belongs on a modern system. Of course, it sounds like that's exactly what you intended anyway. Anyway, this is an awesome piece that would make even Nobuo Uematsu have to respect you.

Astoundingly beautiful. <3

I love these chords, and these chords tell me that you've got skill. I picture this as a battle theme, perhaps a chase leading to something greater. ^_^

My only pickle is the lack of dynamics - even a slight change from mezzo forte to forte would be good for this piece.

Favourited. Keep up the good work!

Duly noted. I'm uploading an edited version with more dynamic variation now. Thanks so much for your comment!
