Turn that shit down
I see you have addicted to staccato strings eh, why made them so loud? Fucking contra/cello stacs are like drugs, need a while to rehab or lag away from them. I have been the same.
I approve your drums. Except 01:39, nice panning but lack of mastering. Sometime I wonder what kind of headphone you were used b/c this is the 2nd song that has off-balance volumes crossed between instruments.
Ending is somewhat ok, but same as above: turn that shit down. Could add some echo and/or delay in that lo-fi drum hit.
Very nice choices of melodies.
About the panning, its because of the string instrument i use, lower notes are on left and higher on right, idk how to fix this (except for making everything mono for the strings) I'll possibly master later on, atm i want to work on some other projects! thanks for the feedback though! I think i will continue this track.
Theres nothing i can really take away from this. Did you write the melody your self? @1.39 theres somthing really badly distorted you need to fix. The instruments sound realistic and drum loops are stuctured well. I would mabey use different kick and snare samples for the drum loop prehaps a kick with more oomph.
Oh and what happened to the hardstyle stuff you were doing?
any way i have a new track if you want a little listen
yeah, i wrote the entire melody, the distortion is probably from my explosion sample. the drums are from addictive drums, but i can tweak the kick, mabee eq it a bit and a tad of reeverb? The hardstyle track, it kinda stalled xD, and sure i'll give it a listen, thanks for the review!
Fantastic, but disjointed.
The only reason this isn't getting a 10 is because, as you yourself said, it's a little bit disconnected. Some parts of this song are genius, it's just a combination of a bit too many different kinds of awesome.
Thankyou for the review, i want to fix some of the progressions, and if i get inspiration hopefully make some of these into full tracks like 2:06 its my fav progression its a bit broken at the end, hopefully it will mature into an epic track!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
