You ever just had to make a track? Inspiration finds itself just exploding out of nowhere, as if tearing the walls apart and screaming for its release into the world. An idea is a marvelous thing, and before you know it, an idea comes to life. I was working my usual shift at McDonalds, flipping burgers and such, when I heard Bee Gee's "Stayin' Alive" being played in the lobby. This is a classic, and almost everyone who's ever ridden in the car with their parents is bound to have heard this song. I found myself jamming to it all day, and then I started slicing things apart and adding beats into my head. Before I knew it, I was set to create a French House remix of "Stayin' Alive." And thus, "Heebie Bee Gees" was born. I have never put so much work into a song, or strived for absolute perfection, or raped YouTube videos for tips and tricks to help me out here and there. I wanted this track to be my best work. I believe if you're striving to be an artist at your work, you have to improve each and every time you start a new project. I'm sure I've achieved that here. Sure it's not professional by any means, but I think I got pretty damn close.
I hope you enjoy it. I think French House seems to be a particular favorite genre of mine. I might end up creating more like this and consider French House my main genre, but it will not be my only genre to mess around with. But all that aside, let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is welcome, accepted, and very much appreciated. Any suggestions will also be taken into consideration. I aim to get better with each song, and help is always great to receive.
