just putting this up here hoping for some advice on getting the intro sounding a bit tighter. Really its just in idea phase atm and constructive ctitiscism would be welcome.

yeah I get you. Had not added compression yet, also the guitars had a low pass filter due to pick 'noise's' was gonna notch them out but couldnt find the freq. However not sure about this from a compositional point of view now...might just drop this as a musical idea for the moment.
Oh and btw....digging your mix's/guitar tracks freaking awesome :D
