Sometimes a little too much...

Sometimes, mainly in the beginning, the combined beats just make it sound off, kind of like a busy intersection.
Is it just me or does somebody else hear Pretty Rave Girl and Harry Potter at some point in the song.
The other question I have is, is this just a compilation of small clips of songs all pieced together?
