So here's another song I wrote for my band. It's sort of a demo because I played it all except the drums and bass.... well the bass is keyboard and drums are sequenced LOL. Anyways...
I wanted to go for a doom metal sounding song you know, slow and heavy. I think the drums veer off of the style a little bit. Sorry, I'm not well versed in writing doom metal LOL. I just listen to some of it. Anyways, I also liked adding the clean guitar. It's just straight clean guitar with no effects or anything hehe. Most of the song, I feel, is kind of bland though, especially the drums but what am I going to do heh.
Well I hope you don't hate it :D
Good Stuff
Massive Doom, Death, Black, Thrash, Early Metal fan and whilst I admit there are clear traces of more extreme metal genres within it, this is a very interesting Doom-esque song which follows what most Doom-heads want to hear which is a marching, heavy melody. Also I did enjoy the mellow guitar breaking up the song every now and then, it gave it something special.
YES! Early/Traditional metal heads UNITE!!! LOL Yeah I'm horrible at Doom metal but it is such an awesome style. I'm glad I could at least get some Doom elements correct.

This is what real metal is! Sometimes metal just doesn't have to be fast or thrashy to be metal. Sounds so awesome man, I like how parts just go from heavy to clean, then heavy to clean lol. Amazing solo too by the way! Your solo really reminds me of Marc. A Pullen (An awesome instrumental musician)
