I really hope your lyrics turn out great for this song. You deserve to win this contest for sure.
Haaa, thanx man. I hope the lyrics go good too cuz I can't have my friend in it sadly for it's ONE student only :( But I edited his verse so technically all the work is mine so I hope I win :D Thanx for the review!!!
Looking forward to the Lryic Version if theres one
The wind effects are awesome in the intro! I have wind sounds, but Idk if they sound that awesome! Not only is the wind cool, but the entire beginning part is nice.
Lol, now that stood out! it's that one sound that I hear from crash bandicoot, It's a good sound. It start's at 1:26 and ends at 1:29. I died alot in that game, so I know that sound really well lol.
I noticed the Pizzacato. It is a nice touch to the song. It's brief but I notice it.
For the choir, what kind of chord did you use? It sounds like 3 different notes, while 2 of them being an octave from each other.
The beat is really fitting for this song. It's kinda (well to me) like it has some fast elements but mainly slow. Which brings me to the pace of the song. I usually like slow pace songs if they are done right, but this is different...It's great!
Hmm, the kicks are a lil bit too powerful for this type of song. Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but maybe the lyrics will be powerful to even that out (If there's gonna be any).
Good job with this.
Keep it up!
I just found this wind FX randomly off the internet since I don't have any other ones, lolz. It made sure the piano rised up good too so I'm glad you liked the intro. I think the sound ur talkin' bout from 1:26-1:29 is that lil' rise up fx, I liked the fx too, & I found it in my library and sounds & stuff so I used that. I do like crash bandicoot, I still have it in fact :D Glad you noticed the pizz, just a small edition to the song. You are indeed correct about the choir. I layered it 3 notes, the 1st ones were C4, C5, & C6 then the 2nd one was lower from keys B5, B4, B3, then C4, C5, C6 & then A5, A4, & A3. The choir is just 2 Soundfonts layered together, I could send them if u want. I get what your sayin'. Like I kept the kick, snare, & clap slow, but the hi-hats is the fast part. The kicks durin' the verses are very bassy cuz when I changed the kick in the hook parts, I just added more frequnecy to make it hard, but I know what you're sayin'.Yeah, there will be lyrics soon, I already finished my 2 verses & the hooks, but I still need to get my frend recorded. Thanx for the review!!!
This track is absolutely stunning. An epic operatic feel that still stays hip hop. I dig it :)
Wow, thanx for the kind words. I tried to go for a deep feel in this one with my normal style of hip hop as well :D Thanx for the review!!!
I think your classmate will like this track you put together mate.
What more could they possibly want?
p.s headphones wreck your ears man...throw em away before you go deaf..
Yeah, he said he liked it. I already recorded my part, thank god, time saver, but now he just needs to record his part which isn't too much. Yeah, I usually where them while pretty much producing for bass purpose and for recording so you don't get background hum and shizz. Thanx for the review!!!
