This was mostly an experiment with building tension through layering. The entering drum track sets the mood for the whole piece while the 8-bit arpeggios maintain a solid foundation that the piano can play around. A dance-themed drum set was used along with a few NES and SEGA Genesis sounds. A basic piano sound was also used for the themes.
