I always loved this level's music. Chex Quest was a .wad edit of Doom that completely redesigned the game to be family friendly (no blood and gore), and even adults who were into blood and gore in their games got into this game. Currently there's a large fanbase, three Doom .wad edits (one made by fans), and a Doom 3 mod.
As for my cover, there's fifteen instruments used and twenty-one patterns. No automation clips this time! I based this off a midi I downloaded (as a matter of fact, the original Doom game (as well as Doom II and its mods) used midis for the level music).

EDIT: Soon after uploading, I noticed something really weird and abrasive with the song, primarily because it was so freaking loud, because I had three drum sets hitting the same things, and because I had so many instruments. Thus, I lessened the amount of instruments, deleted the extra two drum sets, and reduced the volume. It sounds much better to me.
EDIT #2: The original song's main melody stayed elevated one octave until the chorus, and then reset after the chorus. The previous mp3 here didn't. Problem solved!
