My god man! This was amazing. I have to say, this makes you feel like a citizen of City 17 losing a friend because he was beaten to death by the CP for reasons of helping the rebels. Makes you want to get revenge on the Combine for pushing humanity around like we're some sort of object when we get to the beat rising in the song. My man, you are amazing for making this song and for that, you get my highest vote that I can possible give. Keep up the good work.

Half-Life is probably my all-time favorite video game series. I figured I'd try my hand at remixing one of the more known songs, Triage at Dawn. Viktor Antonov's "Path of Borealis" remix on Youtube kind of inspired me to do this.
I added some drums, but they're very tight and clean. Not overpowering or reverbed to oblivion or anything. I think they worked out great. I also decided to use pianos to give it a lonely feeling. I think a lot of Gordon Freeman's journeying was done alone up until Episode 1 so I figured I could sort of mimic that a bit in this song. The drums do give it a faster pace though I suppose.
