Good beat

Hmm, this piece I'd say sound a little more Xmas than Halloween, which is strange, to say the least, considering the site is bedecked with pumpkins and so forth.

The piece is very upbeat and almost uplifting, while the sounds of merriment from beneath the melody don't necessarily interfere, until they come to the solo section, which is a very different kettle of fish. The way that it all meshes together is pleasing, though I would suggest that you add more length and variation to the track, as without that, I feel that it's going to confuse and distract people from the real purpose of the song.

Consider things like adding more vocal samples (having just one shout doesn't seem to cut it for me, so there's something to work on). I'd also like to see a little more in the bass department, just for a bit more of a thump, to give the genre its stamp of approval.

Cake!!

Well this sounds like a solid foundation piece and not too bad at all either. Has a happy party feeling to it as well that kind of makes you put your hands up at a rave and just enjoy the party too. Is that some mixed vocals I hear added to the mix as well? Cool. Very nice demo though, hopefully you leave it when the final product is up so I can try to compare them too. :P

The synth sounds overly cheery and like you were needing to dance to it as well which is pretty great I think. The bass is also happy feeling as well and I enjoy it quite a bit too I think. The drums are pounding and very nice on the ears. Great work there.

Overall, good work in progress. Hope the final piece is even more awesome.

Where is my cake?

Really though this is a pretty sweet sounding Dance/ Techno tune!
I really like your choice in leads, bass, and drums here; you really managed to generate a very old school techno sound with this mix!

This song totally reminds me of the days when the hardest techno around was Darude's EPIC "Sandstorm"!

This track really took me back, and I think it has some real potential!
I also think it could use a couple things though...

My ideas:
- Maybe turn the BPM up a bit, and layer the leads/ drums for a REAL hardcore mix :]
- Add a nice hardcore bassline; or keep it simple w/e
- Blend those break fx in a bit better; they stand out of the mix a bit too much with the mixing the way it is.

Overall not bad work :] Keep at it!
