Sheet Music? I really like it
for piano in Eb minor.
So this ended up being a fairly lengthy piece. I decided to consider it an impromptu even though impromptus don't really have any specific form that they need to be written in. I might still add on to it - I'm thinking more embellishments in the reprise, and perhaps changing the left hand pattern a little bit more, though I'm not sure yet.
Honest votes and reviews are appreciated!
Sheet Music? I really like it
I love a good classical piece.
Nice
I'm all about constructive criticism so here goes: you are obviously a talented individual and I've listened to some of your other compositions. All of your pieces are complex, involving lots of key changes and modulations up and down, and tons of melodic complexity. But I feel that you could be even better if you'd just let your more emotional side shine through a little bit. Like in this piece, there are tons of opportunities to slow it down and add some feeling, but instead you're kind of stuck in fast gear. It all sounds a little bit too mechanical for a classical piece, with the exception of a few spots like the very beginning (which is beautiful by the way). Maybe if you were to play half as many notes in the left hand it would help it. There are some classical pieces on NG that are not as frantic as this one which have gotten good reivews and scores, and I think you could come up with some dynamite additions to the list.
Thank you for the review!
This is technically an etude, so it's supposed to be pretty technical. I would definitely opt for more expressiveness, but it's fairly difficult to make a computer program give expressive playback and this piece is too difficult for me to actually play. It would be great if I could get a legit piano performer to play this at some point...
What
This is beautiful. Great piano sound and the title just fits it perfectly too. Amazing job sir.
