All Keyboard. Capture the essense that is "Adventure"

I'm amazed

I have downloaded all your songs now. lol. They're all on my iPod. This is really good. I don't really have much to say about something so good. Until I am of your caliber, I can't complain about your music (I hope to consider myself somewhat close soon, cuz I'm writing a "symphony"....to be done in a few months...lol).

MilkMan-Dan responds:

ooo a Symphony... I can't wait... please do hurry. And don't worry... all it takes to be in league with me is a lil passion... I'm nothin special... I just like wut I do. Good luck mate :)

Very well done

For a Yamaha DX keyboard, those are great sounds, specifically the guitar and keyboard.

I think the guitar could have a little more arpeggiated line, but other than that very well done!

MilkMan-Dan responds:

ahhh... MrMaestro... were you not the one who recently made that classical remix to Defcon Zero. That was some mighty impressive work there. Yes... my Keyboard has served me very well... I love it dearly. I'm thinking of getting some programs that will work with my keyboard and offer me more sound and flexability... if anyone knows of any... let me know.

:) lets pack our bags n go now!

that was very true to the title ^^ suited it perfectly :)

well, hard to comment on masterpieces X] so i'll leave it there,

btw, loved the bass wif the high piano ^^sets the clock ticking~
n the way its connected awed me ^^ the phrases r very captivating ^^

good work~, keep it up :)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Thanks buddy... a plethora of extravegant vocabulary and a flattering review. Thanks :).

milkman_dan does it again. The song, Four Seasons of Adventure, is an excellent piece, even for dan. The sense of epicness you feel when you listen to it just seems to sweep you off of your feet and take you on an adventure.

There are, as the title says, four main 'parts'(one of which is played a second time at the end) to the song, each with it's own distinct feel. I have yet to work out what the seasons are, though. Guess I'm not sophisticated enough. Heh.

Anyway, download the song. You have to hear it just once.

Absolutely breathtaking.

This is a great piece, it captures the shallower essence of adventure, but I couldn't really get the sense of fullness from the song, it feels somewhat incomplete to me.

I feel that if you added some of the deeper string qualities you've used in Ode to the Angels (renewed), this piece would definitely have a stronger effect than it already has. ^^

Of course, I'm not much of a musician myself, so I really must congratulate you for constructing such an epic piece of music.

Edit: Perhaps the background's deeper strings go at a slightly faster beat and be used a little more often later in the piece; having the background stick out would definitely bring out a new wholeness to this song I believe.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Ahh yes... you are right about the background bringing wholeness to the music. And perhaps I should have put more into it. But I could not add more strings. I only have 5 tracks my keyboard allows me to record to. So I woulda had to take something out to add that in :). Win some... lose some.. Thanx for the review mate.
