Electronic - Video Game

Test tracks 8, 9, and 10 combined into one. From my game Withstand, which I'm still making.

I think it sounds pretty average (bad), but people have told me it's a little bit catchy, so I figure why not.

And here's the times of the stuff for how it works out in the game.
0:00 Tower Enter
0:30 Rising
1:32 Sea and Storm and Sky (Sea and Storm Rearrange)
2:03 Top (Sea and Storm Remix)
2:32 Haserze's Theme
3:02 Earthquake Magic? (Apotheosis)
3:24 Finale
3:53 Escape (Fall)

In the game, each track is actually separated into about 25 second long loops, and split into many layers. For example, test track 8 is actually 11 ogg files. (Only 9 are used in this combination.)

Coming up with the music for this game, I wanted some of the electric sounds Portal 2 had, but I also wanted a slightly Asian desert theme (which I'm good at). Also, through all of this, I wanted to put retro game instruments. So I did it. The music falling perfectly in tune with my other not-so-unrelated-project-
firstpersonshooter "Sea and Storm" was a complete coincidence, but I ran with it. This three tracks here are probably the most melody modernish electronic sounding of all the tracks in the game, and are the result of a shitload of buildup through the rest of the game. Almost every single melody through the game is called back starting a 2:03, starting from the simple arp from the very first wind elemental-puzzle and the off-beat pulses from the (rigged) archery contest from even before that. I don't think it sounds great, but I'm pretty proud with the result.
Oh, and I stole from Super Metroid for the last track. But that's okay, because you can't recognize it.

Ohmahgawd I ranted

tl;dr -> it is a game musics
