I love the way this is put together, and I have to tell ya - it is AMAZINGLY beautiful; The synths are really well done, the piano in the background simply beautiful. The trance style sounds you put into this remix are just awesome, dude. I was also hoping that I could use this song in Flash flash revolution.
Anyway, nice job there, man.
After listening to the original song for awhile hearing this song through me off guard for a second. Especially when you first tossed in the piano. It sounded harsh and like it didn't belong, but then i kept listening and it blended with the melody more and more. I like it. And even re-listening to it, the beginning of the piano doesn't sound so bad anymore. It wasn't bad, it wasn't that it didn't belong, it was just different. You implemented it beautifully and kept a beautiful melody beautiful. I'm planning to go into song making soon as a hobby, I hope I can share some of my work with you when it's done so that i can give you the same feeling this remix is giving me.
Entrancing. Best version of this I've heard since the original.
The piano is a nice addition that blends in with the rest of the track perfectly, and the rest of your changes are fairly subtle but leave enough impact to set this apart and classify it as a true remix while still maintaining most of what made the source material so strong. The synths used blend in wonderfully and work with the beat to make this track entrancing and beautiful.
You say you're new at this? Keep it up! You've got a strong sense for this sort of thing, obviously, and it'll be interesting to see how far you can take it.
