Almost a half-year after I've found, downloaded, and listened to this song of yours for more times than I can count, I've finally came back to pay my respect. When I first heard this song, it absolutely blew me away. I don't know much about music and its jargons, but I can say that the acoustic guitar and the piano (electric I assume?) just rings to my ear in the most beautiful and profound way possible. Anyways, I see that you've continued your amazing music career on Newgrounds and I wish you a bright future in doing something that you love!
Oh, by the way, the reason why I said "pay my respect" earlier is that I want you to know that I used this song in a service project video that I made. It is an introductory video for a school service club that I lead. The club is a penpal project that connects poor students from other countries to students in the American high school I went to. And I just felt that this song somehow gives me the feeling of being able to connect with other people, that there are others like me in the world, and i guess just overall optimism haha (I'm not bullshitting I swear!). Don't worry, the video is not commercial in any shape or form. I neglected to ask for your permission to use this song prior to the project but I wanted to finish early and thus forgot about asking you...Sorry for the inconvenience; I hope you understand :(
I'd love to show you the video that featured your song but it would remove the safe feeling of anonymity that I so value in online communities, even newgrounds. The best thanks I can give you is that now you know that somewhere out there, your beautiful and sweet song will serve as a catalyst to connect people around the world :)
Thank you, for this amazing song
Stumbled across this track today! What a lovely stumble it was too.
Very nice indeed. Sounds a bit too clean to be a 'real' guitar? [that's why I gave it 9/10], but that's irrelevant really as it's the tune that matters and what you've made here is really lovely. I can see it soundtracking a movie no prob, almost reminiscent of Yann Tiersen in the phrasing, a sort of french flavour to it;)
Great stuff, and glad I could be of some inspiration to someone;)
all the best
OMG! I never, in a million years would have expected a review from you, thanks so much dude :)
It isn't real per se, it's a real guitar but it's sampled, therefore it sounds slightly fake.
I'm glad you liked it! Would love to collab some time :)
This was a great melody. Very well done. Loved every bit of it.
Glad you like it mate! :)
sorry about my last review
i was wondering if u are playing the gutar in this
Yeah dw, and of course :P
I noticed in your comment you said you had problems and you thanked the people who helped you with that. I'd just like to say thank-you to YOU. I've heard listened to this song dozens of times before but i never really got anything from it other than it was good music. What i'm trying to say is i've had problems of my own and i've forever said "tomorrow will be different" but have always lacked the conviction of my words.
Then i listened to it again, same as any other time. But it wasn't. You really helped me out and i can't thank you enough. I owe you alot, so thank you for showing me that we can all be the good guy if we choose
This was probably one of the best reviews I've got, thanks a lot mate, I appreciate it! =)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
