Hey all, this one is a bit old...but it's fun.

Was based on a 4-hr competition called Doubles Dash, where you can have one producer/composer and one vocalist. Me and my friend, B-Type teamed up to come up with a beatastic track, with some pretty awesome vocals/lyrics.

Lyrics:
"torment in my eyes, cerebral cortex fried
as i begin to relize ramifications tonight
my plight is blighted, recieve the news
another case of interplanetary abuse
my hands are cleansed, with no recompense
force of habit, like my 6th sense
nice and sterile, im used to the smell
medicine and bile, welcome to hell
beam down, straight in a danger zone
splinters of ships, shrapnel and chrome
im all alone, the line pushed on
the injured remain, the fit are gone
this goes on to long, as i tend to the wounds
under the light of a triumberate of moons
reset the bones, administer anesthetic
as i muse the battlescars here are pathetic

i have to go get it, left it behind
my medicine bag, behind enemy lines
barely armed, like an amputee
i pull up the HUD, and check the screen
radar coupled with tracking devices
are two tools i use to safe some lives
despise the work i do, just another cog
as i open my journal and pen in my log
more musing about the skills im abusing
the money is good but my soul is losing
working for the militant arm of my world
will be worth it when i can feed my baby girl..."

Will be posting the rest of the lyrics tomorrow, figured right now, that oughta do. :)

Enjoy.

Daaaaaaang

Sorry for the late review. In case you're confused as to why I am saying that, I promised to review two of your pieces after you reviewed my "River of Memories"

I'll divide this review into two sections:

Audio elements:

The intro is pretty good, nothing amazing, but nevertheless a great way to start off the track. However, I think you could have added some transition into the vocals, which seem to start very suddenly.

As for the literary value of the lyrics, I was honestly quite blown back with what you can up with. The lyrics are very focused, yet express a wide range of human thoughts. Good job there!

Overall, nice job the lyrics, needs some work on the beats.

The percussion is superb. Plenty of variation, very good transitions, and catchy at that. It also meshes very well with the leads you have going on here. Just one thing: I think you could have introduce more unique percussion patters. For a 4 minute song, I feel only one "mode" of percussion, which does get a bit uninteresting after a while. Although you got some new stuff in at 3:00, you went right back to the basic beat you had.

That triangle ting thingy should also be varied more if you're going to play it for that long. Just some small variation though is necessary.

As for the lyrics. the delivery was nearly flawless, although I think the volume could be boosted just a tad.
