Requested by Rikku-Takarai, this is a WIP remix of the enigmatic Mt. Pyre. It's noticeably livelier and upbeat than other remixes I came across, as I envisioned more of a "spirits' playground" of sorts when making this remix. Had a few issues with the computer, so I wasn't able to finish yet. Lemme know what you think so far!

For some reason, this reminds me of the 'Jesus' scene in Big Lebowski, especially at 00:30, except with Pokemon.

Really good.

I always thought most remixers didn't really use the source tune all that well. Yet another piece with atypical yet fitting instruments, cannot WAIT for the full version.

Thought I reviewed this...

I love the visuals this gives me! I instantly thought of like, ghosts of the pokemon rising to party and socialize; which was weird since in my vision they had... tequila glasses and everything. xD
I love how you're making it your own and giving it a totally different vibe altogether. It's upbeat without losing the "Mt Pyre" flare.
You. Must. Finish. This. PERIOD. <-- period.

Very cool.

I tried remixing this source myself at one I'm biased. This is great though, cool instrumentation...some interesting dynamics so far, but the intro is really what keeps me interested. I like the ethnic instruments you chose as well as the cool percussive groove.

You should totally finish this, I dig. :D

Cam3leon responds:

Appreciate it, dude! Do you have the remix posted up anywhere? I looked through your works (VERY dope, I must say) and couldn't find it. But yeah, I tried going for a mystic foggy mountain feel with the instrumentation and atmosphere. It's a bit different, given that I'm not TOO too familiar with the game, but hopefully it'll come out well :)

Havn't heard the original.

But I still love this. Keep it up.
