This song is sweet and beautiful. It definitely fits into a peaceful-type setting for an RPG. Great job, dude!

Cimba responds:

Thanks :)

Reminds me of a theme for a "Home Town" in a RPG style video game.
I really enjoyed the quality of the instruments used here (Really can't tell if they are fake or real). The song itself is written wonderfully, and I was really impressed by the subtle dynamic changes. The mastering here is amazing, and I can't think of anything I would change about it.

I would really love to hear this build into more of an orchestral piece; If strings and piano were to join in towards the end, I could see this building into a brilliant EPIC soundtrack for a film or as I mentioned earlier "An RPG style video game".

Overall; brilliant work

This piece seems to have a very calm and light tone to it as if you were watching moonlight simply reflect on the water before you as well. You hear smaller sounds around but nothing seems to be out of place either here. Very blissful and calm tune of happiness I think, I liked it a lot, nice work. Would be nice calm background music for someone writing a story I think.

The xylophones here are very light and lullaby-like in a way too as if caressing you to simply fall asleep and dream of new days to come as well while you relax and fall asleep. The vibraphones and marimbas are also calm here and give a nice atmosphere as well. No idea what the glockenspiel is sadly but I know it is there somewhere eluding my thoughts.

Overall, very calm and happy sounding piece, it also loops well, very nice.

Live instruments?

Or were these all vsts? Either way, this is very reminiscent of a Christmas carol. Have you thought of adding lyrics for a choir to this composition?

The Glockenspiel was a little loud compared to the backup Vibraphones, but the Marimbas felt like they were at a good volume and didn't over power the other two type of instruments.

I look forward to hearing more of your compositions.

Balance is a bit out of whack...OMG bells is my reaction. I also find myself getting lost in the music because I don't feel a real melody here. The beginning has good potential, but after the first big attack by all the mallets, it turns to a bunch of random stuff and random chords. Get a melody going and get the balance worked out. It's possible, even on finale.
