UPDATE (11/23/11): Sorry for such a late update, but I improved a lot of the stuff since this was an older song. I eq'ed the kicks and changed them along with the other instruments like snare & clap. Alos, I eq'ed the guitar and made the 2nd verse longer since me and my cousin chris are doin' the song together!!!

A couple days ago, I got inspiration to make a, sorta, part 2 of Walkin' Towards Some Memories, one of my best songs on NG/1st RnB. The song I was mainly inspired by was '03 Bonnie & Clyde but Jay-Z & Beyonce. I've also been listenin' to some 90's RnB & more. This song turned out to be in HQ, woot :) A rapper is really needed for this song, which is why it's kinda repetitive. This was also made for a friend. I was suppose to make her a disco song, but I never did, lolz. I really felt emotion with this song, especially the beat, & I hope you do too. Pleez rate, review, download, & enjoy!!!

I like it, but the finger snaps and claps kind of threw me off from the beat. I didn't feel it accented your floor bass that well. Maybe try to explore more of the snare system to add something else that makes it flow a little better. The tune at 0:46, 1:09 and 1:55 I think should have a bigger role in this piece to if your going for emotion. Great stuff though! Not really my cup-o-tea but that doesn't mean its not good.

Haa, thanx. The claps were actually snare/clap, but whenever I tried adding a snare it sounded too heavy/hip hop-ish, but I think I know what you mean by the snaps cuz I did pan that and the shaker. Yeah, this was meant to be kinda short cuz I notcied most of my songs are over 3 min. and shizz so yeah. Thanx for the review!!!

I dig the beat, it's a little simple, I'd try to add some more depth to it, tone the kick down just a tad, it seems heavy compared to the rest of the song, a little more than it should... But I like it, with some vocals it should be pretty good. Lookin forward to hearin it!

hey man this one is great. Do you actually play the guitar? and what software do u use? Sounds really chillin and I love the "scratching".. and definitely agree that rap/vocals would be great here..

Thanx man. I do not play the guitar, but I wanna learn how to play an acoustic guitar to make more music like this, but more fresh with the filtering and stuff. I recently started using FL Studio 10. I've been tryin' to get the best hip hop kicks possible. Glad you liked the scratches. I found these kits with some & I tried to only put the ones that fit with the song. Me & my friend, Pati, are gonna try to sing to this, but she's gonna sing & Imma be rappin'. Thanx for the review!!!
