Hey, I really like it:) especially that moment in 01:37 min. You should totally share it on League forums and hear comments from community! Keep up the good work!
I should keep it simple
I had to make an account to write this review. It took a long time due to computer problems.
After finally getting an account I wrote a rather lengthy essay about how I enjoyed all of your submissions, especially this one. However, I figured that I will mimic your music with this review. Not too long, not overly complex, to the point, conveys its meaning.
I might not have studied music, but I know a good piece from a bad one. And this, my goodness, is fantastic work. The instruments all sound very natural, the opening of the song is a great contrast to what comes at about halfway, as well as the build up presented near the end. It is a shame that it had to fall away (as you mentioned in your comments) but this, along with most of your other music, is going to be going on my Ipod for my morning commutes. It will be under the artist "Noah Potter". No doubt it will soon be one of my most frequented playlists.
It would be nice to see some more submissions. However, I wouldn't mind seeing your name listed in the credits of a major motion picture.
Epicsong for kayle
A Fan of Kayle lol xD It sounds very good :) im not so a fan of classical but this time i give a 8/10 for the name of the song and its only epic.
This is a great soundtrack. Although I've never played it, it sounds like something you would hear in a Zelda game. Vey profesional. Exelent viola and precussion. Definatly a winner in any musical contest!
The intro sounds as if it is leading into something darker. You end up with a very consonant, fantastical world kind of song (which is what you were aiming for, so this is good) that does not match up with the intro.
From the intro, I expected dramatic volume dynamics, gripping passages with a lot of dissonance, hopefully some chromatic sequences, and a long composition with a lot of variety.
Maybe I've been listening to Matt Uelmen's Diablo soundtrack too much, but I think you just need to rework the intro to provoke some semblance of the positive emotion you present in the latter half of this composition.
Other than that, just make it longer.
Overall solid draft!
No, the light emerging from the darkness was what I was going for, not horror.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
