This song is named after our one and only source of inspiration: the sand fiddler crab- Uca pugilator.

It's good. Maybe.

Cool structure!

I really like the journey this track takes you on. Definitely reminds me of sci-fi!

Sfapil 2 has it down I think. I suspect you've used an FM synth on the bass... And if not, then a few of your oscillators are downtuned or something. It would sound brilliant if it sweetened up in some sections and then you had your weird harmonic thing going on later as an effect. It just sounds a little discomforting all the way through and does disturb the beautifulness going on elsewhere.

Excellent effort! /fav!

RunningShadows responds:

Thank you sir! I'm glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate your input.

I like!

It is a really great ambient track. I'm not entirely sure about the static noise, but even as I listen to it again it makes more sense. You're onto something here! This has inspired me to try my hand at ambient again.
(my last try sucked, too experimental)

RunningShadows responds:

Thanks a lot man! Yeah the staticy bit was definitely experimental for me. Sometimes you have to make a leap of faith and then see if it works lol. I'm glad I could be of inspiration. I'll be sure to check out your stuff ;)

holy shit

Blew my mind. Somewhat reminded me of aphex twin, at least in the beginning (and thats awesome). Anyhow, the tune is really freaking sweet. Sounds just way more professional than many other artists I've listened to here.

Great job!

RunningShadows responds:

Hey thanks. I love Aphex Twin, I can totally see the similarity. Yeah the intro was very experimental for me. Thanks a lot!

You manage to draw out a peaceful melody with exciting variations.
The way the different instruments interact to tell a cheerful/uprising yet a sad/dark story is amazing.

The mix is just... complete. What else can I say?

Great job xD

RunningShadows responds:

Thanks a lot man. I am glad you enjoyed!

Very interesting

It has this marvelous evolution... an unfolding of elements... a slow, peaceful trip into a futuristic utopia... However, I find that your bass is way too muddy* and it takes away from the perfectly sharp-edged synths and crystal clear sounds: it almost ruins the magic you created. I'd suggest some EQing; try and lower the mids and see if things get better.

Structure-wise... damn. I wish I were this good. It's the third time I'm listening to this and even though the beginning sounds a bit flat (all because of that muddy bass) I just can't enough of your chorus and the transitions in between.

Truly well done.

*I've listened to your track with a pair of closed monitor headphones. Being closed they might enrich the bass a tad, but these headphones are meant to be as flat as possible. I'd still suggest cleaning the bass a bit.

RunningShadows responds:

Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed the track, and thanks for the advice on the bass.
