Not bad! The muffled horn/trumpet bugs me a little, but it's all good! Try switching in other instruments or mixing them though :) Meanwhile check out my own theme for Pokemon! It's a custom theme for X/Y
omg the epicness
:D :D :D
I need to show this to my friend because he has an Acecard and can possibly download this as one of his music cheats! Then my other friend could team up with me in a double battle and fight my friend with this song playing! :D
That'd be so epic!! :D
As a pokemon master ('cause I sure as damn am), I have to say.....
I wanna battle the Elite Four with THIS playing.
From start to finish it's just pure battling greatness. But when I think about it, I think the epicness of this music would be better suited for a legendary pokemon for some reason. Or maybe the head of whatever evil syndicate was featured in the game. Maybe that's just me. It just screams, "This is gonna be hard, but I can't lose or sh*t is gonna hit the fan"
My only and truly ONLY complaint-- hang on... *downloads* ... Is that it sounds a little muffled? BUT THAT'S IT!
This is still AWESOME, and I can't wait to put it on my iPod! *giggles madly*
Thanks tons Rikku! I definitely wanted to get your feedback on it, given your knowledge of the newer Pokemon themes. But I'm glad you liked it, hopefully I'll have more original/remixed PKMN pieces coming. And yeah, I still need to work on my mastering skills. But I'ma keep improving! Lemme know if you have ANY requests. I got you :)
I'm not sure about the distortion guitar... but everything else I thought was really good. Nice work.
Thanks for the feedback (my fault for responding so late; I "voted" it helpful before but I never got around to responding directly lol). I feel where you're coming from though. At times, the guitar can kinda clash with the orchestra. I was going for a feel similar to the newer games, where the composer fuses these sounds often. I'll try to make the transitions a little smoother next time!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
