Bob your head... and sieze.
The saxophone-ish instrument in the beginning rocks, though I would've like to see you do more with it throughout the song. A delay with dynamic feedback on it would be awesome. [Automate the feedback on a delay to increase a whole bunch as the clip plays, and then drop off to zero instantly; that should make it layer itself until it stutters.]
The rhythm synth is pretty good, though it seems uncharacteristically repetitive.
The clips are pretty damn good and do add more to the song than they detract.
The stutter on the drums is distracting as hell. This song definitely demands attention, though I don't think I can bob my head to it.
More variation would be good--the drum and rhythm go through the whole song. A break in the drums, or chopping/stuttering the rhythm synth could add to the song... and possibly give the listener seizures.
People are just having issues with the finer points of this one. I was mostly satisfied with it. Perhaps it could use some tweaking though.
This track is off the hook! Great job! It sounds like experimental music, what with the sort of off-beat drums and everything. But if you listen to it closely, you can hear most the elements of the song come together and deliver a sweet piece of music!
But then there is the one problem. The voices don't seem to merge with the song. They are just out there.
Great job none the less!
Thanks for the great review. But honestly I think the sound-bites add a good flavor. Kind of a hip-hop bob your head type of thing.
