A Bit Overpowering
Immediatley when I saw this was a sequel to Cosmover, my heart jumped for some reason. I don't know why, but your sounds are extremely haunting and bring vivid images of long, abandoned caves with seemingly endless streams of water running through them dripping along the sides of the walls from an unknown source.
Although, I do have a few complaints. Your pad structure begins to get a bit overwhelming near the 1:10 mark. I wish you would have made it a bit lighter, as it begins to feel like pure noise rather than emotions or ambience. Your bass seems pretty well made, but I think it would go better against a lighter pad setup. You should add more of a wet mix to this, as it seems far to dry with large hints of resonance. Make it a bit less powerful, turn down the volume a bit.
I think you are thinking far to technical in your tracks, which stops you from progressing much in the "music" category. Your growing in the technical side of things, understanding all of the specifics of creating electronic sounds, but it is time for you to expand this knowledge into something beautiful. Relax while creating your tracks, and make sure to master your sounds to where they sound fairly good on speakers and headphones. Right now, this track is to loud in my opinion and should be toned down a bit with the bass.
There are many ways you could expand your ideas. You could try adding real life sounds, instruments such as the violin and the piano, add leads and bass instead of just pure pad euphoria, e.t.c.
Good luck beta testing Reason 6.
