I wish I were a game developer so I could use this as a background loop. It's in a wonderful way ugly and easy to listen to.
Please forgive me for being a bit harsh.
This piece lacked rhythm, sounded very much off key through its entire duration, and was overall unpleasing to listen to.
When comparing this not to music, but noise, it sounds partially like fingernails on a chalk board, mixed with a dial up modem.
Though I can't offer any means of making this song better,
I can can offer you a couple tips on a future piece.
( allow me to be a hypocrite as I rather listen to music, not compose it.)
Please use sounds that are pleasing to listen to.
8-bit may not contain a lot of depth, it can be concatenated into a form that is pleasing, such as a higher pitched, in key, beep.
Remember that rhythmic beats are your friend!
Sure, there are good and bad beats, bad beats are explained in this current piece, but, there is possibility that, after trial and error, you may find a mix worthy of a 5/5.
Again, please forgive me for this rather harsh review, I can tell that you have much more potential than others, mainly because this piece is not yet another mega-man or sonic "remix".
It's okay that your musical ear is somewhat 'undeveloped', not to say you wouldn't listen huge variation of different genres, but by blocking something that you find odd or weird.
I understand that you like sweet melodies and catchy beats, but there's alot music that isn't like that, and in a way, you shouldn't complain and give a bad review just because you're musically deaf.
Thank you for your review.
Reminds me of those old arcade shooter games :]
its good music :)
Wow thank you alot :D I'm the most pleasant now ^^
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
