My own version of the Chocobo tune that everyone knows, mixing 8-bit, some glitches and downtempo. ;D
Listen to it all, and with headphones.

PS: The intro reminds you of Odeka de Chocobo, huh? XD

When I first started listening to this I was kinda expecting it to be more 8-bit (you surprised me)
Actually I think this almost sounds robotic, in my opinion such an epic piece should go with such an 8-bit intro - given how it sounds. but hey - like I always say "its your music - do what you like to it"... not like I can't make any small exceptions to things I like any how, this is really good. Actually I think I'll fav this

It kinda sounds like the theme of some kind of old robot sanctuary... you know I wonder if it would fit into a metroid game... (one of the more recent ones of course)

The rise of mechanical Chocobos, a prelude to self-destruction. Robotic frenzy, madness, power-driven creatures fighting in a now living hell. To bring order once again in land of chaos.

I just thought of this while reading your review, that'd be cool as a prologue or something, haha. Post-apocalyptic Chocobos, half robot, half organic. Lol. I love Metroid music, and I like the idea of this being in a just-awakened robot sanctuary... if that place were to be completely forlorn, I think it would "sound" much differently. I'll post that sound texture later.

Thanks for your review, man, much appreciated. ^^

The sound you used at the break at 53 seconds was awesome. Was that a sample you found or a synth? Cuz if it was a synth, I must know what VST you used. O.O lol. This sounds awesome. I... admit, I don't know what that chocobo song is you were talkin bout.... But it's still a fun intro. haha. Great work, as usual. I'll try and get a good song of my own up soon. If I ever bother to actually write it.

The Chocobo theme is from Final Fantasy, the whole series almost. The glitches that break just before the transitions are made by a preset instrument called "Glitch Generator". I can't make glitches myself yet, but it's pretty cinematic. I've added a bit of distortion, some panning, and there you have it.
Thanks Rob, was a pretty funny tune :D

I cannot compete with this. The grandmother of my piece of shit computer relates to the intro of this song. The part after a minute is what relates to your super computer. My computer is a crackhead. Your computer a god damn servant.

Aww... XD
No you can't. No you won't. Train again like you used to do, doesn't matter the form, but the atmosphere, like... c'mon! Bring it on, bro. You can't kick the bucket in the middle of a fight.
Anyways, thank you :3

This is a pretty fun tune, man. I dig the theme it feels like a neat kid oriented show at the beginning but then, completely changes. The transition is great too.. Could be used in "space" typed shows...etc...or VG's. Hopefully someone on Negrounds puts this tune to use. It is pretty awesome.

Thanks BMI, love your support :D
Yeah lol, I had a completely different idea in mind at the beginning... like making something completely silly-sounding J-Pop-ish like and then BAM, pure in-your-face ambiance. Haha, that was a pretty neat idea. Yeah, it would be great if someone uses this.
Thanks again,
