A short battle theme which I originally made for a good friend's project. It fits well for any retro-style game and loops smoothly.

Alright, this is absolutely beautiful. I especially love the part from 0:19 to 0:37. The only thing that slightly puts me off and makes me not want to give the track the full rating is that the loop isn't perfectly smooth, it's a little bit abrupt and clearly noticeable (still loops well though). If I had to criticise anything different than that, then maybe that it sounds a tiny little bit empty in the background, but it's still absolutely wonderful. Keep the good work up :)

Thanks for your review! :) Yes, it's very minimalistic, hence nothing going on in the background. It normally loops perfectly, but the NG audio player still causes some slight lags in loops, and in a loud, fast song like this, it is clearly audible. :/

This is really Awesome! can i use it in a video game cartoon im making, i'll be sure to mention your newgrounds.

wandschrank responds:

Of course, feel free to use it. Also send me a PM with the link, please :)

Great Job!!

I was wondering, though, how did you get these 8-bit sample's/preset's/VST's? They're really awesome and sound like the real thing,i kanda sorta want them.....;P but it's ok if it's kind of a personal thing,i'd understand-but other than that, this loop is really catchy :) Fantastic.

wandschrank responds:

There are several methods to achieve a (more ore less) authentic sound:
Use a tracker that emulates a soundchip of your choice, use 3x osc synth and stick to very simple waveforms (e.g. square) without added effects, download some 8bit / retro vsts (there are a LOT of them available, just google it!). ;D

Could never make chiptune like this

This is some really great stuff :). My chiptune generally is too modernized and isnt true chiptune because of that.

wandschrank responds:

Thanks! I often use too much notes at once, too, but I try to keep the sounds as simple as possible. :)

Solid Videogame Work

Very golden age nintendoesq. Brought me back a few years with that one, keep it up ;-)

wandschrank responds:
