This definitely reminds me of "The Journey" radio station from grand theft auto IV,which is great, because that used to be one of my favorite stations overall from the game.i like the whole song and the feel of it,but it feels kinda empty. alas,it sounds good, and chill, which is great.

i dont like how it's a bit too ambient at some point, which made me honestly lose my concentration on the song through its' first playthrough, which i was then like,"wait, what?"

overall, its a cool piece to just sit back and ride with, but i wouldnt use it for a stage in a game since you lose focus on the song and then when you catch yourself,it's almost done.

I kinda get what you mean with too ambient, but I think doing anything about it will render the song close to boring. It could be a nice project for the future to maybe add some new content and remove some of the ambient elements. Anyways. Thank you for a great review(:

A very impressive, well-composed track. Feels like you've really thought this one through and given yourself the time needed to write it down, and it really fits the name. It really is a voyage for the the listener.

The piano sounds great. The ambient synths filling in the voids sound great, buuut I believe you should find some better drum synths, at least for the bass drum. It sounds a bit hollow and muted, which doesn't fit the track. I do like the rhythmics, if you don't look at the samples.

Some nice strings as well in there. Really liked the intro, nice buildup to part 2. Ending was also pretty nice. not really a fade-out, which is good. To me.

This is how a voyage should be like. Nice and relaxing. I like the background music here very much. It creates this relaxing atmosphere that I quite like.

However, the drums sound a bit strange to me, some kind of "artificial sound". Maybe you could try out different drum sounds to find one that doesn't stand out so much?

Overall, this is a good song.

Didn't mix/master the track with my monitors (yeah, don't think I'll do that again), but now that I have them up and running again I can see what you mean. Cheers!

Sleepy time

Kind of makes you think of someone going to sleep and the screen slowly fades out as it shows what is going on in their head while this music plays to it. Have to say that this sounds really soft and pleasant on the ears as well too, also kind of makes me think of Earthbound.

The drums are simple and you can clearly hear the bass then drum hit repeat over and over again which is relaxing actually. The phaser effect on the one synth feels cool to me actually since it carries a real calming tone to it. Then the ambient bass notes are also pleasing as it helps move the song forward a bit. The leitmotif sound I hear is cool but also makes me think of Earthbound a bit too.

The guitar sounds really nice when it plays here. Helps you feel even more relaxed too.

Overall, really neat sleeping song I think. Kind of makes you think of people sleeping and going on a voyage in their dreams anyways.
