so this is my first song where i have done extensive EQ on it. which is funny seeing as how it's got a bunch of 16 bit style sounds in it. (go figure)

either way, i have to say i am rather proud of this. it is suppose to fade out but for some reason newgrounds wouldn't let me upload that version so i will be uploading that version to my soundcloud sometime soon.

as always, enjoy this 8bit/ dance track.

edit: again with the zero bombs? argh.

good old Nostalgia

i love this track already, for the fact that it takes me back to when i had a dreamcast and MvC2 and many other games. damn, those were the days.

anyways,i like the song itself, and it sounds like it would be the main theme for something quirky. i like how you use actual game-type leads too. it (obviously) adds to the feel.

the only thing about this is that the first half is kinda repetitive,so maybe a random change of key would be fun to do? i always like moving up a major second when i make songs like this. it sounds scott pilgrim-ish too, which is a big plus since i used to listen to the soundtrack almost everyday and loved it.

one other thing, the instability at 3:00 sounds like you rushed the rest of the song.

overall,cool piece,it takes me back ages(or more specifically,when i was like 5 years old)

funfunfun

Ah man, one of the better video game/8-bit tracks I've heard in a while. I could easily see this in a Scott Pilgrim vs the World-style game. Or in the credits. =D

Very well composed. I really like the rhythmics in it, and of course, the synths are so damn good. The high pitched buzz synth that plays the main melody through large parts of the song is well written. Drum samples are very good. I'm glad you didn't overdo the beats, often happens in tracks of this style.

Also like the bass synth that follows throughout the song, and the drop/breakdown around 2.40 or so. Really nicely done with the slowed down tune, adds another level to the track. I feel it ended a bit sudden, chopped off, maybe work on the ending a bit. Intro was neat, very 8-bit.

thanks for the review, glad you liked it. as for the ending, it was SUPPOSE to fade out but for some reason newgrounds would not let me upload that version. so I had to upload the one before I made the fade out. kinda lame but it's whatever.

really appreciate the review and glad you liked it.

Party

Sounds like something you would hear at a party in a video game. Then suddenly after the song is done there is either credits or an adventure starting for the main character too. Really cool piece though.

The synth sounds completely happy and very high up there too. Really like how it makes the song feel great, also kind of has a guitar sound to it as well. The bass line was pretty cool and smooth on this pne as it helps the beat carry on once more. The drums sound nice paired with claps actually, cool.

Overall, really cool piece of work.

glad you enjoyed it. I have to say, for my first video game style song, I think it came out pretty well.

Awesome

Simply put, this song is what my summary says.

And those zero-bombers need to GTFO. I upped your song to a 4.20 (FUCK YEA)
