A friend of mine was grieving because of the depraved murder of an innocent 9 year old child in her community..... so I made this music for her and also in some way it is for the family of the child. I hope that they hear it too.

Note: There are mistakes in this, yet, please forgive them. My vision was a little blurred when I made this music, I don't think I need to explain why.

''Indeed the music wanders here and there, I would have tried to do this again or cut it down somehow yet I felt that I should be true to the raw nature of the tragedy and leave it as is, no second chances, no warnings..''

Hello Sir...

I was looking out onto the skyline today, and I thought, "Why must we empty our anger out onto the skyline?" That thought has resonated throughout this entire piece. I also play piano, maybe even to challenge your skills, but that's neither here nor there. Recently I have started questioning myself... my motives... my flaws. I've started to question the acts that I witness around me. I've started to see past the mirage of smiling faces and open arms. We've started to go in a path drawn out for us. Yet with this being said, not one person will do anything. So with this rant spewed onto your music, I just want to say one thing. You have a talent. Don't do anything with it that you don't want to. At that point... the talent is a curse....

I feel the pain!

Hi Bradley,
Once again you have captured mood that in your eyes needed to be created..

I closed my eyes to feel the hurt/ anger and the power of feeling that you portray.

Yet this is very cool and if I may say very haunting.

Well done.

Hi Phil ^_^
Indeed, it is truly very haunting, considering the most horrific tragedy that it concerns
Thanks, as always

This piece is amazing. Nice work. I just started piano 6 months ago, you put me to shame. Did you use a keyboard then use a VST to generate the effect? Or did you use condenser microphones to record a real piano?

MrMusicalLion responds:

Reason 5 + Reason Pianos refill
^ most amazing piano samples EVER.
I played this all on a keyboard and that was all. No added effects,
Except a bit of preliminary fiddling around to find a nice sound [adjusting reverb etc slightly]

This isn't my best piece of music, either, lol, have a look at Spirited Steed when you get a chance ;)

Thanks for the review - and good luck with the piano! If you want help then ask
me, will be more than willing to drop you some hints/tips/guidance and so on.

The song is brilliant, i would agree with "Saxturbation" some parts don't the overall theme. However, the Song had great mood to it. each note you played is telling a story. As I listen to the song, I feel such great sorrow. Like you said " no second chances, no warnings" This all i have to say from now.

P.S Please give me best for the family. Hope they find happiness.

I hope they do too. I see all things in life as chances to grow, no matter how bitter or painful.

Again, I agree, there are inconsistencies in this piece of music that I usually wouldn't allow in an uploaded piece of music however this was an exception.

I am glad that the music appealed to you, thankyou for your review, and your kind words.

This is beautiful. I like the mood most of the way through although some parts don't seem to fit the overall theme. Nevertheless, it is improv and you played amazingly. Props.

P.S. I hope the best for the family.

I agree with you in every way. Indeed the music wanders here and there, I would have tried to do this again or cut it down somehow yet I felt that I should be true to the raw nature of the tragedy and leave it as is, no second chances, no warnings..

I'll pass on the wishes. I'm not directly in contact with the family, I'm in contact with a friend who is part of the community yet it has taken it's toll on them all. Many thanks,
