This has been reuploaded due to those idiot zerobombers who apparently think it's funny to rate something down for giggles. If you're going to rate something badly, do it because you actually think it deserves the rating, and TELL ME WHY IT DESERVES THE RATING. That way, I can improve it, and make you happier. Capiche?

Now, I worked for several days on this, to make sure that it actually sounds good. It's a relaxing song that overall is ambient (I'd rather put it in the soundscapes catagory though), but has a little bit of a drumbeat that makes it less ambient. This is borderline, but as someone had said that it sounds like ambience... in the ambient section it goes.

-If you rate this anything other than 5/5 and/or 10/10, please tell me how I can improve it. It just takes a minute, and I love feedback. We all could use it, and it helps us grow as a producer.

Ah, my bad

Full song, hmmmm...

Everything from my review on the loop still stands, including (unfortunately) the hi hat. It still has too much HF component, and it's also a bit loud.

Around 1:38, the kick is overly interfering with the flute and the other leads. It's causing "hiccups" if you will in the higher frequencies. I don't know if this is intentional, but just letting you know that I think it causes the song to sound discontinuous. Fortunately, the flute fits much better with the other leads than the guitar. Also, from this point on, I felt there was sooooo much room for percussion ownage that was simply left blank.

3:10, the kick continues to interfere

The ending was sufficient, but you and I both know there could have been more to close out this amazing track.

The biggest thing IMO was not the guitar this time, but the overpowering kick. For an ambient song, it's pretty loud, possibly because its frequency is very low and isn't that noticeable until you crank up the volume. I think you could have even done without the kick and replaced it with another percussion line.

Sorry bout the mix up, hope this helps!

SkyeWint responds:

I should probably change my high-hats or EQ them a bit more, they aren't the best, I admit.

As for the kick part, I thought that made it more interesting to have it make the "hiccups", that was intentional. To each their own opinion, though.

You may have wanted percussion ownage, but I was intending this song to be more atmospheric and airy, that's what it was requested to be initially, so... That's what it is.

I know, I know, the end could definitely have been better. But I was mainly wanting the electric guitar "mist" to go, and it felt too empty to just have it fade like that.

Thank you though, it did help.

Sounds like it would go well in a platform game where it is real windy looking as you run and try to find the answers that the game gives problems of. Very nice piece though and I do like it a lot too.

The guitars come and go very lightly and give a feel as if something might be there waiting for you to come and save them from whatever is bugging them. The bass sounds really pleasing and nice to the ears. The pan flute and flute both combine to make this song sound all the more better.

The drums are amazingly simple and nice as well. Like how they seem to move along.

Overall, very nice and calm piece of music.

SkyeWint responds:

Grr. I haven't thought to respond to this yet. I only have two things I can really respond to though.

1) lol, "more better"

2) Why in the world do you rate everything 9? That's honestly the only rating I've seen from you on my songs. May I ask why? If there's nothing wrong with a song, wouldn't it be a 10..? If you could tell me why in a PM, that would be awesome.

they do that to me too, ill reupload my songs too...
