I think this is among my best pieces. I honestly enjoyed making this and I hope you enjoy listening to it. Happy Robot Day (on the 10th, of course), and good luck to all the other participants.

EDIT: I altered the song slightly. Now there are cool rain and thunder sounds, courtesy of mp3skull.com.

When I listen to this, I imagine a robot standing in the rain. The water is causing him to rust and malfunction, and he begins hallucinating. I'll let you take it from there.

I think;

that this is an excellent tune.

I would have the drums louder, tho.

[then again, I'm told I have my drums too loud!]

JohnLeprechaun responds:

Oh goodness, how did this review slip past me? Thanks for the thoughts. :)

I enjoyed this!

Love sound, especially the bass... it's really crunchy! The first part of the song is ace... not sure about the structure of the rest. But all in all a very cool little piece of music, keep it up!

JohnLeprechaun responds:

Wow, I'm surprised this song is still getting reviews. Thanks for the insight, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I spent a lot of time perfecting how each of the instruments sounded and interacted with the others, which is by far the hardest part of producing, so I'm also happy that that turned out alright. Thanks for the review!

Very cool

I love the intro and then it feels like a break away from the sound and you are taken somewhere else.

I think you did an awesome job, keep it up, I want to hear more.

JohnLeprechaun responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Through the mind of a malfunctioning robot.

At first, it really does sound as you had described it. Robot's standing in the rain, and once the beat really begins to kick in, we take a trip through its mind's last moments.

What I liked in this song was how it made me conjure the images the robot could be seeing. Also, that one moment before it begins to malfunction. I liked how the music could convey that. I do feel that the synth kinda overpowered the percussion. Though that could be my soundcard. (Got a Dell. Go figure.) And I feel like the ending was missing a bit. But overall, I like what you did here.

You were up against a lot of competition for Robot Day, I'm guessing. Keep it up.

JohnLeprechaun responds:

Oh, very much so. I was basically competing against all the people that inspired me to start making music to begin with. Kind of overwhelming. >.> I'm really glad you liked it, though. The imbalance of sounds may very well be your card; it sounds fine through headphones or high quality speakers. Thanks for the review, and I will certainly keep it up. :)

not bad

i kinda like it but its not as good as the other robot day songs. i cant relly hold that against you tho so u get 7/10

JohnLeprechaun responds:

Yeah, the competition is pretty tough. This is my first year.
