I wrote this song using Famitracker, for my game, Snailiad! :-) You can download the rest of this soundtrack from my site (, including the NSF files, if you like.

This is the final battle theme, for the second battle with Moon Snail. It's supposed to be high-energy and a bit hectic, alternating between syncopated portions and steady 4/4 pulse sections, and maybe a little big progged up. It's also one of the longest loops in the game, and the only song where I used fast arps (although I had to set the tempo pretty high and program the arps by hand to get the effect I wanted, rather than using FT's arp effect. Famitracker's arps aren't terribly configurable.) Anyway, I hope you like it!

Very Good

An epic track for an epic battle. I like how it flows and goes through phases.

The pitch bend in points of the bass, the tom before the beat slows down, the way it slows down and speeds up with different instruments differently. Those are the three bits of the track that make it outstanding.
I'm going to assume you got some reverences from Rock music for that bass instrument.
I'm not referring to the sub sound that comes in, just the low square/saw wave.

Gah, I just woke up I'm not awake all the way.
Bare with my half arsed review.
