Law of Disorder

This is a song I made today and yesterday. Wanted to make another techno song, and I made it by using the same key/chords as my previous song "Raining Tones". I define this as a loop because it loops perfectly.
The intro and outro are equal, and they give an illusion of a different rhythm. The parts starting at 0:32 and 2:29 may also do the same. Oh and the bass synthesis at 0:22 actually has another rhythm.

As usually, it's so hard finding a name for a song... I first thought "Mentally Awake" or "Mental Awaking", but... well you see the title now. I am not even sure about that title...

Don't turn the volume up just because the intro is low volume, then you'll be surprised by the kinda wrenching synth :P (no, it doesn't hurt, it's not a bad synth, but it can be loud!).

Anyway, I really hope you appreciate this song just as much as I do. Enjoy! =D

Disorder and law

very good work here amazing transitions between bass and synths if you are working on projects like this in the future try using some transient shaping and bass expander vsts in your D.A.W

ErlendHL responds:

Thanks for the tip; I will keep it in mind even though I didn't understand it :)

It reminds me of doing something cool

Just cool. Nothing more...

ErlendHL responds:

Thanks, I... guess.. :)

amazing. i like the smooth fit-it-up of it. it seems symetrical to a degree until about 2:40 where the key kicks in. id agree with the loop but it feels a bit more.

Hey, hey! It's groovy!

Groovy, yes, very much so. Made me bob my head a lot, especially during the parts when you employed that slick hi-hat rhythm (er, maybe it was a snare) (1:30-2:02, etc.) which I especially liked. Made me feel the melody a lot more than, for example, the times when you were using the kick/snare--although that was good too. The melody was enjoyable, bouncy, worked well with the percussion rhythms. Also, the intro/outro thing which deceives the mind into thinking the rhythm is 5/8 of a bar different was particularly cool. Still, it feels a little...I don't know, restrained? I feel like you could have a lot more fun with this song. Add some crazy snares! Drop another underlying melody! Go nuts! I dunno, do whatever. But this could be built on even more. I loved it, yup, and I think it could be even better than it already is.

ErlendHL responds:

Ah thank you for that great review! You're a great reviewer.
Right now I can't take listening to this version because I have a better version with increased tempo (didn't upload so it's not the version 2 but I will maybe upload it soon). I think that's why you think it's kinda restrained. I agree with that. Also I'm glad you think the rythm is 5/8 at intro and outro because that was the intention.
