Another taste of something to come, folks! This is another old tune from my archives that I will be finishing up and resubmitting to the portal (you can listen to the original on Joshy676's audio portal here: http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/102077). This is just the guitars for right now (because I haven't recorded the bass yet). When I do, I will have Josh record drums this time. [:

Feel free to leave me feedback on the guitar tones or volumes or whatnot. I'd like to know ahead of time what sounds like it's working and what isn't. ^_^

I gave you a 5/5 cause it was awesome but a little rough and sharp on the edges.

chocosoda responds:

Thank you~!

The rest of the track has been prepared for my drummer, so perhaps in a week or two this WIP will be completed. [:

I gave this a 5/5 & 9/10

I really like what you did! I gave you a 5/5 because you'd stated this was a work in progress. As such, it has endless potential to become something great. However, I also heard what appeared to be some background noise. One of the guitars "thudding" randomly maybe? Anyways, it just distracts from the song. Also, some of the transitions were just a little rough around the edges. Like I said though bro, great work, loads of potential, looking forward to the upcoming release. Would really like it if you could throw in some power chord chorus's in there as well (Just an artistic suggestion). Take it easy!

chocosoda responds:

I set the original clean guitar to loop... but I may not have looped it correctly.

The thunking noise you hear is from the fade-in guitar; it's me attempting to mute the strings before I start the next chord. xDDDDD

The next segments get heavier and much heavier, I promise you. [:

Check out the older track link in the comments for a taste of what they will sound like.

Thank you for the review! =D

Nice Harmonies

I really like what you did, even if it's just a couple of guitars. the harmonization was on key and on the dot, which i love when it does happen. this is an amazing single track and i can't wait to hear the whole put-together!

chocosoda responds:

Thank you! I was debating for quite a while which harmonies to use and when I settled on the ones you hear (root, minor third, octave, minor third of the octave) I was incredibly pleased.

The end product will sound something like the earlier track, but there's more to the ending. [:

Thank you for the review! =D
