Heh, well thats definatly not something you hear every day. I found the story it told me rather original, and fascinating.
I found the piece full of effects and strange sounds, making it sound extremely diverse.
The song was quite clear, there was a tad bit of distortion from some of the uber deep bass instruments, but that is to be expected.
I have never tried to make a song like this, so I have little idea how long or how hard it is to produce one. However if I know anything, I know that it's never easy to create something wonderful, and this was quite complex, so good marks on effort.
There was little melody in this piece, however a song like this is to be of such. The long loops incredibly well, and it proves powerful as ambiance or music in the background. powerful, yet not demanding.
Overall impression on me:
I don't listen to much music like this, but I should. I can hear a lot of strange and new stories in this piece that I have not heard in any others, you have convinced me to give this genre another shot.
I don't have much to suggest for this song, I hope the faction 2 judges will be able to provide more knowledge then myself.
Thank you RedSlash, for joining the contest and giving us this piece!
I wouldn't say it sucks
But it could use some obvious improovements. I mean I liked the drums and dirty bass sound, but the dealy synth and the strings were sooooo unoriginal. Yeah, it aint bad, but its not quite up to par....
thx for your opinion
the only thing i can really say is that well i didn't exactly submit my music to win
i just submitted it so people can hear it and if they like it to go ahead and listen to it
good inro rest sucks sorry
intro good like dat alot but the drum rolls and loops jus ruin the intro....therfore ruinin the chooon
i'm sorry you feel that way
you can criticize and still be constructive but maybe you jsut dont like the genre of music my song is supposed to be in?
apparently you don't like drum n bass?
