I play with a band on and off, and the lead guitarist in the band wrote this song which was originally untitled. So, I did not write the song in it's entirety, just need to make that clear.

However, as I looked at the song I realized a symphony backing it up would be very powerful and epic. So I sat down and started working on it. I didn't edit the original song much, but I made some small changes.

The symphony is midi (East West Quantum Leap Orchestra), and so are drums (EZDrummer). Guitar is played by me with Guitar Rig 4 and I use an LTD M200-FM.

I love Symphonic Metal

Absolutely brilliant! You need some sort of solo at the last part though, the final section that the guitars play in. A solo would work wonders with this music. Over all this is an amazing piece and I would like to know how you created it. Message me. Great job man, great job.

Thanks man, I sent you a PM! ;)

Truly Epic

This song was truly epic .Just the right balance between the symphony and the rock (although like said below, it could used turned up a bit). This piece came out very well and could be be be a very nice addition to a good epic RPG (i dunno why but TES series comes to mind) Overall very nicely done ,and i give a nice solid 10

AlexPhott responds:

Cheers! I could see that being used for such a game, funny you'd mention TES. Because I did a Skyrim Metal Cover on the theme. Might upload it here.

Dude, that some epic shit! Only one thing! You need to turn that guitar up! Lets hear the metal! Nice job!

AlexPhott responds:

Thank you very much!
Yeah, I didn't spend too much time mastering it, I'll keep that in mind for my next symphonic metal track. =)

great addition!

You did a fantastic job adding the symphony parts to the song.

AlexPhott responds:

Thank you very much! =)
