I've been a fan of yours for a good while now... and I'm always blown away by how talented you are. I've enjoyed listening to you grow as a musician.
I wrote this a couple months ago, and it was very experimental. Enjoy! :)

It's funny how much I've changed since uploading this first song. Back then, I didn't know hardly anything about music. It was all gut instinct and intuition. Now I've taken four music theory classes in college, two ear training, a music composition class, all in addition to a lot of self-study. I expected to look back at my old work and cringe, and I do a little bit. But I also see that I was using cool musical ideas without knowing what they were even called.
It's been a real journey over the years and I plan to keep improving. Thank you for following me and listening to my growth. :)
Retrospect...
Wow, you're first submission, and I completely neglected to review it. Well, as a first submission, it's indicatively good. It definitely hints at the artistic signature that you've developed since this and the "frozen moment" feeling that all of your best works seem to capture. That being said, you've come a long, long way, haven't you, Blaze?
I love to look back at old pieces and think about how I have developed as a composer. Back when I wrote this, I didn't know squat about music theory or software; my work completely relied on instinct and emotion. That is what I love about these old pieces though! They aren't thought out and mechanical. No, they are just plain raw.
My knowledge of music has evolved immensely since the time of this composition some 6 years ago, but that time period way back when brought out some of the best in my creativity. I believe that I still have that creativity, but it is more focused now.
Thanks for the review, Chaos! It's good to know that I've made forward progress. :)
nice
good music.
always brings back one of them slow, happy moments that are rare in war...but for some unknown reason it always reminds me of a different one!
Warning! if a similar thing happens to you don't listen more than once a day, you'll just get a headache!
Slow, happy moments in war? That's an interesting thought.
Thanks for reviewing!
So calm, ahh..:)
Really relaxing. Perfect to relax after practice.
You are really talanted ;)
Thanks dude!
Submission #1 is right!
This title is very fitting in more ways than one, if you get my meaning :P
But seriously, I greatly enjoyed this piece. It had sounds and instruments I rarely hear and they were blended together very well in this harmonic piece. As someone mentioned below, the buildup *was* a little slow, but nothing truly worth noting. When the song got going, it took me right along with it. And I greatly enjoyed the ride.
I've never prided myself in giving songs good titles, lol. Thanks for the review!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
