I was just kinda bored, so I did this. Played it for my piano recital, I thought it would sound kinda cool if it were "metal-ized." So, here's my result. Yes, the guitar tone is shit, but... oh well. :P

Good idea, shitty tone...

Well, I think you should probably add a little bass for the lower parts.
Also, since you have Slayer 2, I'll let you in on a little hint: Start with a clean lead; no effects, cabinet, amp, anything. Run that through FreeAmp3 by FrettedSynt and use one of the drive presets; it sounds a lot better.
Another note: some palm muting would be nice. If you're using a midi file, insert a modulation control change of 64-88 for palm on and 0 for palm off.
PS: Didn't bother to mute while writing this, and now my ears are ringing.

Like the idea but...

It would be great if the guitar sounded better but my main problem with it is that it atcually started to hurt my ears after a little. Maybe you could get a different sound pack and revisit it? It would sound epic with the proper guitar tone. Regardless good attempt only limited by resources at your disposal.

DarcX responds:

Yeah, I have no clue how to really make the guitar tone any better-sounding without just getting a new VST, but for some reason RealStrat doesn't want to work on my computer, so I just used Slayer 2 + Amplitube. Maybe I'll have to play with Amplitube's settings if I want to get anywhere.

Thanks for the review though, I always appreciate it. :D
