Atonal mess

The melody seems entirely random, the chords are repetitive, and the whole thing lacks variation.

My advice would be to start with the melody - a good melody should stand on its own - and make sure the bassline changes occasionally. Ideally, you should only have to slow down this way when you want to emphasize something.
