Easy Listening - Jazz

Author Comments

'Ello evriboddi!

This is pretty much the first piece of music I ever created myself. I've played guitar for a good number of years but I finally decided to go with something and stick with it (I'm kind of a perfectionist).

Tell me if you like it or not! I want criticism so that I can progress!

It was made using fruity loops since I don't have a good means of recording. I'm not entirely happy with neither the sounds I tried to create (slides/bends, ghost notes, 32th:s etc.) nor the actual samples used but it's what I was able to create with the limits given. The second part of the solo actually uses egyptian scales which was kind of cool with a jazzy backing track.

If anyone cares to improvise to it, the chords are A7, D#maj7, D7, F#7 and F7 though you could throw in the maj7 a little here and there for variation (and the backing track sounds better on real guitar)
