Electronic - Video Game

Author Comments

Here is a piano/electronic arrangement of the stage BGM Aquatic Ruin Zone from the 1992 Sega Genesis video game, Sonic 2.

This is a collaboration between me and John Weeks.

MIDI Sequenced by John Weeks. Piano arrangement by Dr. Mack Foxx.

MIDI modified and used with permission. Please note: I do have written permission to post this from John Weeks.

I reply to all reviews so feel free to leave one. :)

Ah, the one song I loved and at the same time hated when I was younger. Sounds great, while it sadly brings back memories of desperately trying to get Sonic above the water.

Man. I always made sure to try and stick to the high route in Aquatic Ruin Zone when I was a kid just because navigating underwater was obnoxious. X_X

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave another great review! Great to see you thoroughly liked this track. :)

again i have failed myself!!!

i have scrolled through your songs many times but still i don't listen to them all so i will miss the best files....believe me, this is really good, as if your piano/electronic (sounds?!?) would fit perfectly for this full-of-traps-stage

I can definitely understand hesitation to listen to certain tracks, especially if hearing some songs only invokes feelings of frustration and annoyance. ^_^;

I do consider the sound scheme in these covers to be a piano/electronic arrangement. Thank you so much for once again taking the time to leave a review and I'm very glad you enjoyed this and so many of my and John Weeks' tracks. ^_^

I'm surprised.

I've surveyed almost all of the works that you have submitted; This song in particular, however, really shows your talent as an artist. Overall, a job very well done to you, sir.

Well, I can't take all the credit. Without John Weeks, these Sonic piano/electronic covers would not be possible. I'm very glad you enjoyed this song so much! Thank you very for another excellent review. 'Tis always appreciated. :)

I didn't really care for this song in Sonic 2. I guess that was more or less that it just felt a little too slow for the fast pace of that game. But it's still a decent song, and you did a great job with it.
