Where is the Punch?
Alright, it starts of pretty simple, and meh. A bunch of crashes and kicks, nothing too brilliant.
Alright, and then the vox comes in, backed by nothing but a kick, a bit plain at those bits.
Alright, at the 00:53 mark, it seems to hit some kind of "dancey" feel, but it still sounds simple, lacking, I hear a backing melody, but its distant. Hardly any bass either, you need to add some.
Also, at some times, the vox is off sync with the kicks, guess you can't help that, it is annoying working with vocals.
In the end, sorry to say, this doesn't really hold ones interest for that long, I listened to it for the sake of finishing this review, but i don't think I'd go back on it and listen it again, the backing melody sounds nice, but it's so distant it doesn't really help me.
Theres next to no bass, hardly any claps, snares, etc;
You need to add more to this song, it has potential, thats for sure (providing these vocals aren't constrained by copyright), just work on it, you could make it sound a lot better with time.
