Stepping Back

More often than some tend to think that by taking a closer look, your getting more information, more detail or more concentration.
This is not the case.

Try taking a step back, observe the entire thing as a whole.

This song took me only 4 and a half hours to compose.

It features quite a bit of difference in music composition that I am trying out/adapting to.
At the same time, I have gone against the grain and have increased the volume of all the cymbols and hats and have made the piano the dominant sound.

Tell me what ya think for my second actual Classical-Dubstep, composition!

I quite like the middle part where it breaks down as I've used a very small piece of my older song 'The Forum' to put the piano together.

Not bad.

I like your song, but I got a few points to add.

The chord progression is cool, but I don't hear any variation to it. I also think that the intro could be worked on more, it sounds like it wasn't thought out very well.

The bass line is awesome. The wobbled effect sounds like a standard bass for dupstep. Try and make it more original next time.

My last thought was your crash cymbals. They clash and sound muffled when they are played.

Well, there is my take on your song. Keep at it.

Cheers for the review and the score.

I originally intended for Lyrics to be sung over the top of the chord progression, hence why it is rather bland.

As for the bass line, I know... I'm still trying to work on my Dubstep.

The crash sounds muffled? It could just be the effects that I have in place:
- Crusher
- Gate
- Reverberation.
Also, it could just be the quality of the sample... (Which isnt that grand to say the least)

Once again, thankyou heaps for the indepth review.
I really Appreciate it.
