I made this song using almost only recordings of my voice. I've heard others do it, so I thought I'd give it a try. The only two things that aren't my voice are the recording of Frank Sinatra, and the solo pad.
The only mic I have to record with is the one on my laptop, so the quality is sucky. Luckily, I won a nice stereo mic on an auction site, so I'll start using that as soon as it gets here. :D
However, I think the feel of this song matches the crap quality of the recordings, so in a way, I meant it to be like that. Think of it as an effect, and not just low quality. :P

Great, this was absolutely nice. I like the atmosphere you've managed to pull on, it's very soothing and melodic. A melody that stays in sharp contrast with the industrial-esque percussions, a contrast that gives character to the piece. Very few people manages to get it right, I tell ya.

Haha, thanks again KKS. When I first started writing this song I actually had no idea where I was taking it, or where it was taking me. haha. When I thought of using the recording from one of Frank's songs, I was able to figure it out. Thanks again for the review. :D

You used only your vocals for all that? Wow that's pretty awesome. A better quality mic and such probably would have helped but it all seems to fit together nicely anyways and sound good. Great job man
Yup, haha. And ya I know, my mic is... not good. I was hoping it would be better, but it's really meant more for video cameras i guess. :S And ya, I was glad I was able to get everything to work the way I wanted, despite the poor quality. Thanks for the review! :D

Thanks much. ^.^ Ya, when I first started writing it, it felt sort of inspirational, but also melancholy. So I got out my phone and played a Frank Sinatra song where he introduces the piece he's playing, and the audio clip worked very well to kind of steer the feel of the song the right way. Inspiring
This beat ebbs and flows infectiously. I could listen to the swelling bass forever. I would've had no idea those were originally vocal tracks if you hadn't said so.
