I wanted to try and make something that sounds Deadmau5-ish, and I think I came pretty close. I didn't sample anything or use any presets.

wow, so much better than my attempt at a deadmau5 style song, i really enjoyed it, sounds alot like a deadmau5 song, only reason its a nine is because of that annoying high pitched sound at the intro, i really didn't like that, plz take it out, anyway great song, very mau5ey, really enjoyed it :D

This was awesome!
The foundations of the track were great, and it was structure really well, although it missed a certain magic i must say.
-A Peak controller on the kick
-More heavy and long uplifter samples
-Reeverb on that lead
-A different hi hat maybe
-Throw some Soundgoodizers in there! Liven things up! :D
-Enhanced treble to excite the track
-Stereo widening and shaping
-Use of panning
-Thicker bass sound
-A Backing bass lead instead of the same synth over and over again
These things would have boosted my review up to 10/10 for sure!
Nice track overall though, well done!

There actually is a peak controller on the kick, but I added it to control the volume of the lead, not really to change the kick sound. It does need those other things though, so thanks for the advice.
