This is my first experiment with Reason. Just learning the ropes of the program before I start doing some more serious songs. So far liking the program, but need some new hardware for the setup to be complete. This song was kind of annoying when I used to play this game back in the day, this is my attempt to make it less annoying hehe.

kewl stuff man!

However I find it feel a bit.. less lively than your other stuff - dunno how much you are relying on the actual program itself.. hopefully thatll decrease in time as you learn the program more. I still say you should also learn to use fl studio ;)

Realmguys responds:

Thanks dood. Yeah I def need to learn a ton more. And for sure, I'm going to give FL a try and going to give Cubase (the new one), Ableton, and pro tools a good show as well. Hopefully I can narrow down my fav soon, I'm itching to make some new stuff! Thanks for the review mang.

Really good sounding

Those sounds are absolutely well chosen and the different instruments you have are perfectly matching each other. That sounds very nice, and make us dive into a very particular and uncommon atmosphere.
So yeah, of course you did something very interesting with this song, even if i don't know the original. Nevertheless, it's a bit long, and repetitive. I mean the first minute is truely extra-ordinary and kicked me in the face. But finally, it remains too similar all the song long, same use of instruments, same kind of melody, etc. Some variation, some soaring, something like that could bring a plus to the song.
Anyway, the coherence and greatness is here. So i won't deduct more than one point for this very good work.
Excellent frst experiment with Reason.

Thank you very much for the constructive feedback. I will definitely take what you have to say, to heart for the next production. Sounds like you have a very good understanding of music and song structure, I really appreciate you taking the time to give me a tip. It is a brave new world out there in Reason! Lookin forward to more adventures with the program.
